Monocacy Manor
Monocacy Manor consists of 108 acres of rolling grass-covered hills, farmland, and vineyard, bordered by the Monocacy Creek. It has been home to the School Sisters of Saint Francis since 1947.
Saint Francis Center for Renewal, located in a spacious building on the property, can accommodate up to 72 overnight retreat participants or 100+ for day programs.
The Main Chapel is located in the "White House," which is the residence of the Sisters. Also located on grounds is the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 and Mullen Hall Gymnasium.
On the grounds there are many places for reflection and prayer. The natural beauty of the grounds, the wide open spaces for walking, and the gentle flow of Monocacy Creek provide an atmosphere for solitude, reflection, contemplation, and relaxation.
