The Charism of the School Sisters of Saint Francis, rooted in the Franciscan penitential tradition of Gospel living, is intimate union with God in the midst of apostolic service.
Based on our Franciscan heritage, we are Gospel people who are impelled and challenged to be the human and compassionate face of Jesus to all our brothers and sister whom we meet along life's path. In the spirit of Francis we believe in fraternal living, which we see as a continuous creation. We value our internationality and challenge ourselves to think beyond our borders and to embrace other cultures. In the spirit of our Foundress, Mother Frances Antonia Lampel, we make every effort to be attentive to the signs of the times and the needs of the Church of our day and to live in generous service to God's people.
