SISTER ROSARIA SHINA, OSF | 75TH JUBILEE
Seventy-five years in religious life and a few trips around the world have landed Sister Rosaria Shina exactly where she’s supposed to be — content and ever deepening her relationship with God. She knows she’s in the right place because it was the only place she ever wanted to be. “From childhood on, there was no question in my mind that I was called to be a Sister,” Sister says. “I’ve never looked back.” Read Her Story …
SISTER IRENE NOVAK, OSF | 75TH JUBILEE
Whether ministering as a teacher, principal, librarian or caregiver, Sister Irene Novak has never really considered what she’s doing to be work. “I have gratitude for whatever is,” she says. As this girl from Egypt, Pa., celebrates 75 years in religious life this summer, she lives each day with inner peace and a true appreciation for God’s many blessings. Read Her Story …
SISTER MARGUERITE STEWART, OSF | 75TH JUBILEE
Sister Marguerite Stewart finds herself in a very comfortable place these days — looking back across the fulfilling religious life and storied ministry career that delivered her here from her childhood years in Westfield, Mass. Along the way, she’s made significant stops in Rome and India, but the places have never been as important as the people — her students, her spiritual directees, the elder Sisters who inspired her, and the younger Sisters who she, herself, mentored. As she celebrates her Diamond Jubilee this year, she remains ever as always, stirred by music and a life-long sense of service. Read Her Story …

So much has happened in Sister Regina Ann Rokosny’s 70 years in religious life, but not much has really changed. As former Sister Borgia looks back across the decades, she remains driven by an innate sense of service, inspired by all those she has encountered through ministry, and ever connected to the younger version of herself who helped the Sisters she would later join. SISTER VIRGINIA ROSE CARROLL, OSF | 60TH ANNIVERSARY
Sister Virginia Rose Carroll has no regrets about “following her dream” into religious life and says that each stop along her journey has helped to refine her image of God and to deepen her relationship with Him. As she celebrates her 60th Anniversary in 2026, Sister reflects on her earliest teaching days, finding her niche, and the role that the Sisters who came before her have played in her life. SISTER NANCY CELASCHI, OSF | 60TH ANNIVERSARY
Religious life called young Nancy Celaschi far from her hometown of Charleroi, Pa., to destinations around the world. It’s been a perfect fit for her — a soul energized by encountering new people and experiencing new cultures. Fluency in four foreign languages and the faith she inherited from her mother have enriched her ministry work across six decades. With suitcase still very much in hand, Sister says her “walk with Francis” is far from finished. Read Her Story …
