Our St. Francis Center for Renewal (SFCR) in Bethlehem, Pa., will host its 10th annual Star Struck Gala & Silent Auction in August through a completely virtual format this year. “Gala Week” bidding begins on Monday, August 24, with the main event set for 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, with celebrity host Daniel Roebuck.

Over more than 70 years in retreat ministry, our Sisters and staff have touched countless people, warming their hearts, sharing their troubles, feeding their sense of peace and well-being, and countering despair! We are and have been an oasis of peace and healing for all God’s people in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and beyond. We need you to help us continue in this ministry of renewal. This year's Gala is an exciting and fun opportunity to celebrate and support the beloved mission of our Center.

With its Coming to America theme, the evening will spotlight special guests Joe and Shirley Knecht-Hixson, 2020 Woman of Strength Award winner Nina Marie Corona, Sisters Anita Kuchera and Barbara DeStefano, and the St. Francis Academy Class of 1970, as it marks its 50th anniversary. Anthony Myers will be honored posthumously with the 2020 Troubadour of Light Award.

The online event is free and open to all. To participate in bidding, you’ll need to register and create a free account by clicking here. For more information on how to take part, contact Janice Gough at 610-867-8890 or stfranciscenter@gmail.com.
