November Simply Prayer: What Does It Take to 'Walk on Water?"
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Tuesday, November 3, 2026
“There is a resilience in the human heart that borders on mystery. We have the power to rise, to encourage, to lead, to dare. It is just such fortitude that walking on water demands. If you are bold enough to risk the uncertainty of the waves, respond to Jesus’ invitation to walk on water with him.” — Macrina Weidekker
God has a distinct plan and purpose for our lives. Our gifts and talents may appear inadequate, but God always provides what is needed. Never underestimate God’s power to use you.
Join Marie Therese Sherwood for the November installment of Simply Prayer, entitled What Does It Take to ‘Walk on Water?’ We will reflect on two persons from Scripture who heard God’s call and responded with resilient courage.
The program is set for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, in the first-floor conference room (Blue Room) of St. Francis Center at Monocacy Manor in Bethlehem, Pa. All are welcome to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for coffee. Freewill offerings will be accepted. To register online now, simply click the button below. If you have questions or would prefer to register by phone or email, please contact Lauren Martin at 610-867-8890 or lmartin@schoolsistersosf.org.
